Privacy Policy

Effective July 20, 2026 (added the affiliate-links section; first published July 17, 2026).

Chick Price Index is a static website. There are no accounts, no logins, no comment forms, and nothing to sign up for. We publish price tables; you read them. That keeps this policy short.

What we collect

• Cookies: this site does not set any cookies.
• Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see aggregate traffic — roughly how many visits each page gets. It is cookieless and does not track individuals across sites or build visitor profiles. The measurement script is added automatically by Cloudflare when pages are served; it is not part of this site's code.
• Hosting: the site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard connection data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect against abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Email: if you email us, we see your address and what you wrote, and we use it only to reply. We don't add you to any list — we don't have one.

What we don't do

We don't sell or share personal data, run advertising trackers, or embed social-media widgets. Links to hatchery websites are ordinary links; once you leave this site, the hatchery's own privacy policy applies.

Affiliate links

Some pages contain clearly disclosed affiliate links to Chewy, a pet-supplies retailer (see how we make money). These links route through Impact, Chewy's affiliate network, which records the click and may set cookies on the pages you land on so a purchase can be credited to this site. That happens after you leave — this site itself still sets no cookies and sends nothing about you to Chewy or Impact. Their practices are governed by Chewy's privacy policy and Impact's privacy policy.

Advertising

The site currently shows no ads. If we ever add advertising, we will update this policy first to describe exactly what changes, and note the new effective date here. See also how we make money.
